We are a dispensing practice and are able to supply medication for all patients living more than one mile from the nearest chemist. You can order repeat prescriptions in person, by handing in the right side of your prescription with the items ticked, by telephone or online using EMIS access.

This is a service provided and maintained by our system supplier EMIS. General practice is fully computerised and like all other surgeries in Herefordshire we use the EMIS Web system. EMIS access permits you to order repeat prescriptions online, as well as book some appointments and access your details. To use this you will need to register at https://patient.emisaccess.co.uk/ which is also the way you enter the system so we suggest you bookmark this page.

How to register

You can register online by going to the EMIS access page and clicking on the button that says Register.

Ordering medication

If there is a problem with one of your requests then a message will be sent to your emis access home page which you will need to log on to see.

Messages using this system are collected at the surgery between 8:00-8:30 am each weekday morning. Please allow 48 hours from the time we collect the message for us to prepare the medications for collection. If there is a problem with one of your requests then a message will be sent to your emis access home page which you will need to log on to see.

Save money by using a prepayment certificate

If you pay for more than four items every three months you may find it more economical to purchase a pre-payment certificate. Details can be found at https://www.nhsbsa.nhs.uk/help-nhs-prescription-costs/prescription-prepayment-certificates.
